Valid hatch boundary not found. Adjust the gap tolerance value

We have an application that hatches closed polylines.  Everything works fine in previous versions of BricsCAD.  In 2011 we get "Valid hatch boundary not found. Adjust the gap tolerance value
if the boundary should be considered closed."

Is there a system variable to set the gap tolerance?

    There is HPGAPTOL.

    If this doesn't help, can you please file a support request with a sample?

    Does this only occur when creating the hatch using the programming API?
