Bricscad 11 crashes with ubuntu 10.10

When drawing is loaded, when I draw a horizontal line 1 unit long, and after a vertical 2 units long bricscad exits.

  • Joao, is that happening only with the 'dynamic mode' turned on? It does the same for me.

  • Similar situation here using Mandriva 2010.0 Powerpack 64bit

Ok, this seems to work so far -

    type os

in the search bar next to binoculars type dynamic > then enter

Turn off - dynamic input at pointer

Turn off - editable dynamic dimensions

    Continue drafting.

  • Thank you Brian, it seems to be working fine. But I'll have to try it a bit longer to confirm. I will post the result later.

    Ubuntu 10.10 32bit - Sony Vaio VGN-FW51JF

  • "Turn off - dynamic input at pointer

Turn off - editable dynamic dimensions"

Doesn't work for me. It still crashes the program and closes it immediately.

  • Still working fine after "Turn off - dynamic input at pointer and Turn off - editable dynamic dimensions". I will be waiting for the patch because the dynamic input function seems very interesting.
