Leica Disto D8 supported by Bricscad?

I read at http://www.bricscad.com/en_INTL/home/news/leica.jsp that
Bricscad has native support for the Leica Disto D8 (laser distance meter).
Has anyone here tried using Bricscad with a Disto D8? Any success? I am
intending to use a Disto with a product such as Apex2000 or Distoplan to draw into Bricscad
but this article and others suggest the Disto can draw directly into Bricascad (via bluetooth).
