How to download the latest version of Bcad
Hi all, as per an earlier post regarding a lost properties window ( on a screen that does not exist) It has been suggested i uninstall bcad and reinstall it to start afresh to get my properties window back. I am pretty sure I can uninstall it but how do I install a new version?
Is it as simple as uninstall ALL of briscad, download a new trial version and install my key registry? just not to confident about stuffing it up.
Can anyone tell me they think my aproach is correct
Cheers

Versions V9, V10 and V11 can be installed and uninstalled independently. The only interaction between those programs is the request to carry over your settings as you install a higher version.
Uninstalling and reinstalling won't help resolve a problem with misplaced properties panel though. It's better to clear the profile. This you can do by closing bricscad, starting userprofilemanager from the start menu and deleting the Bricscad profile you're using.

Hi Alexander thank you, but I did not undrestand a word of that. I went to the start menu and did a search for " userprofile manager" I do not mean to be rude but some people on this site who needs assistance are designers and architects and simply have to put up with using computers and have little affinity with them. I could go to an I guy and ask him to apply 'Turners philosophy of the sublime" and expect a blank look.
Chers mate no offence

User Profile Manager is a bricscad tool. you can find it in the windows start menu>Programs>Bricsys>Bricscad V11>User Profile Manager . You can also find it inside the Bricscad program itself, in the Tools menu. If you use it that way, then first start the userprofilemanager, then close Bricscad, and then delete the current profile from the (still active) userprofilemanager.
