layer filters

Hi,

 

I'm testing BricsCAD for two weeks and I find it great. However, as I'm in a big architecture company, we use a lot of layers. This is our office standard. In BricsCAD layer filters are missing! There is no way to use them, however, the information about filters remains in the dwg files > and is accessible through various lisp routines. 

So here are my questions:

Is Bricsys going to implement layer filters in a proxy future?

OR, if not, anybody has seen a third-party application to manage layers WITH layer filter support?

Hi there, great guys from Bricsys!!!

I've  tested BricsCAD (v11 standard) for last half a year and its  really great. HOwever, there is some "must-have" features. One of them is "layer filters", which help to manage huge amounts of layers. Those who works in multi-branch companies, like architects, know exactly what I'm talking about. Internal standards mix with the external ones... Without filters it is like impossible to find a way...

Guys, when exactly this features will be available? Are Sheet-Sets going to be compatible with autodesk's ones????

"First step" of layer filter is in BC implemented* yet, but it isn't layerfilter as when known from AC. ...but it's better as nothing and I hope for full integration of this together with multiline and dynamics block, publish...

* over layer list in layer mananger - like quickselect icon in properties bar

Yes of course, and of course is alweys better than nothing:) but one suggestion about this:

It's combined with "filter" icon. First you type, then you press filter icon. Why it could not function like instant google search - filter icon is obsolete, and when you start typing - layers filter starts.  When the combo box gets focus - it could simply highlight all text (if it's there).

And Juraj, you re right - it is not a layer filter well known from other software... We are waiting for this REALLY in V12 lifecycle, whatever it means..
