problem with slice in V11.3.5

I'm trying V11.3.5. on Ubuntu 10.04.

I noticed a problem with command "slice". I tried to define the slicing plane through 3 points, but I'm always prompted for only 2 points. Here is the sequence:

: SLICE
Select entities: 
Opposite Corner: 
Entities in set: 1
Select entities: 
Specify first point on slicing plane or Object/Zaxis/View/XY/YZ/ZX/<3points>: 
Specify second point on slicing plane: 
Specify a point on desired side of the plane or <Both>:

    @Roberto:

    The 3 points method is the default choice, but does not work. Try it again, but use the right click context menu, so you can explicitly choose to use the 3 point method. It should work. The windows version does the exact same thing. It's just a bug that hasn't been worked out of either platform.
