google map/earth to bricscad
Is there an application that can import images from google earth into Bricscad.

some software can download and put images together automatically, you can try..

I did one from Google maps.
I "Print Screen"d then pasted the image into Irfanview.
Select the area you want then Edit>Crop Selection.
Save as a JPG and attach as a raster image in Bcad.

yeah but its better if you can load google maps api right through the bricscad!! better resolution without stretching etc!!!

There are 3rd Party applications available that will do this.
If you have BricsCAD Pro/Platinum and a suitable account with a WMS provider, then as an alternative you could use MAPCONNECT.

Where are you located (country) and what are you looking to do with image? Create contours etc.0 -
Here is a snip from my Septic Assistant program available here, with a Google Map image. The image is placed at the correct coordinates and to scale, the contours where generated from the data points created during the same process. All that is need is a single Latitude & Longitude that can be either collected on site via any GPS device, or selected from Google Maps.Google-Map.PNG0
