Proxy objects

I have looked at the help files and all of the variable at set to see proxy objects, yet I can't see them any suggestions?

    I am not sure but will take a stab at it...

    When opening the file withouth the application that understands the custom entities set PROXYSHOW=1, graphic images are displayed for all proxy entites. If that does not show the proxy images then try saving the drawing with the application that creates the custom objects while PROXYGRAPHICS=1.

    I have always assumed I just wanted to get rid of any proxies when they existed in a file.

    There is a lisp called Killdots which works well for me. It's not mine so I probably shouldn't forward it, but you can easily find and download it using google.

    Thanks for the suggestions, I will try and let the provider of the files know to save them with the variable proxygraphics set to 1. Is there an object enabler for the new Civil autocad program, that works for bricscad?
