AutoCad on Mac

This is somewhat related to Bricscad on Linux. Thought others might be intersted. I wonder if Bricsys effort in the linux world might have spurred on Autodesk.

  • I heard about AutoCAD for Mac from a colleague. He was interested in switching because he prefers Macs to Windows. He was waiting for AutoCAD LT for Mac, but I see that's out now as well.

I doubt the decision has anything to do with Bricscad or Linux. I think it is more likely that they see Apple trending upward, and they know that design-type people like Mac and have money. They're like, "These people will pay hundreds/thousands for software!"
