Command line vs. input boxes, command line history

Hello,
I do not know whether this is a bug or my misinterpretation:

1) If I want to specify the next point of a line using relative coordinates using the "@" symbol (@100,200 for example), the @ symbol is entered on the command line, but any numerals are entered directly in the input box in the drawing space, resulting in an error. I did not find any way of using relative coordinates in the "line" and similar commands. The same applies to "<" for angle etc.

Do the input boxes in the drawing space have to be displayed, or can they be turned off?

2) From AutoCAD I was used to accessing any former command line input by pressing the up arrow. In BricsCAD only used commands show up, but no coordinates nor any other used values. Is this intentional? Can this be changed in some user settings?

Thank you!

  • Hi Matej,

    1) I had the same problem. Try setting DYNMODE to 0 . (Type "dynmode" on the command line. Current setting will be displayed and you will be prompted to enter a new value.)
