V12 rtrot and suspending the quad

in V11 i could use Crtl+left mouse to start rtrot.

that no longer seems to be the case.

 

how do i add it back?

 

Also, I like the quad most of the time, but at times i'd like to suspend or turn it off.

can this be done?

    There used to be two key combinations available to start rtrot: Shift+Middle mouse button and Ctrl+Left mouse button.

    Since Ctrl+left now is used for selection, Shift+Middle should be used to start rtrot. In the coming months we will work on making these key combinations user-defineable.

    To switch off the Quad, switch off the QUADDISPLAY variable. The fastest way to toggle QUADDISPLAY On/Off is to press the F12 key. Clicking the Quad field on the status bar has the same result. Alternatively, one could key in the QUADDISPLAY command, or bring up the Settings dialog to toggle it.

    FYI, Ctrl+F12 will toggle the selection of subentities.
