I was also wondering whether I have to register as a developer to get access to new betas, or if there just aren't any...
With V11 not getting updates anymore and no visible progress on V12, the linux version is beginning to look a bit neglected.
The online store at the moment list the price for V11 linux pro with 425.- euro (compared to 380.- for V12 windows), without even hinting that people buying now will get V12 for free - as if bricsys had refrained from selling linux at all...

Not sure what the process is for linux but to become a beta tester for windows it's just a case of filling out a support request and asking for it.
As far as timing of V12 Linux, all the press releases state that the estimated release date was one month after the windows release.
And lastly, I would think that you only get V12 for free if you purchase an all in subscription.

Will there be a Linux V12 soon?
When Bricscad Windows V12 was released and I found a link to a Linux V12 beta (see this thread https://forum.bricsys.com/discussion/16071), I expected the Linux V12 to come out soon as well. But it seems like I was wrong, because this happend almost 2 months ago and there were no more hints on Linux V12 despite users asking for it eg. here in this tread. Would it be possible to get a statement here whether a final release will come out within the next month or not?0 -
I sent a couple of bug reports for the (quite outdated) V12 beta, and was repeatedly assured that the team would be working hard on the Linux version. Most of the SR have meanwhile been closed as 'fixed' so I bet this is not completely untrue. However, (contrary to what I was told) there have been no new betas, and if you look at some other forum posts, I think one has to say that announcements from Bricsys' side have to be met with some caution (their release policy remains a mystery to me).
One thing seems clear: the Linux version will for the foreseeable future remain a niche product that doesn't generate much revenue, so it will just receive a fraction of the resources devoted to the windows version - a decision to buy it can probably not be based on rational reason alone...0
