Abrupt Shut Down

I just turned my system on, opened a drawing, offset a line, and started to manually enlarge a polyline with associative hatch inside.

BricksCad shut down as I was starting to move the second pick box corner of the polyline.

I have had many abrupt shu downs of Brics Cad but this is the first time I had an exact command sequence.

Aby ideas to explain the shutdown and how to fix it?

I am using BricksCad 11 with Ubuntu 11.10.

I have an AMD Sempron 3300+ with 3/4 GB of RAM.

I have about 30 GB free space on my Linux partition of my hard drive.

  • I have an old habit of hitting the key way too much due to using early versions of AutoCad.

It seems like BricsCad Linux does not like excessive use of the key and abruptly shuts down sometimes due to this action.

I retrained myself. Only an occasional shut down now.
  • Do you refer to "Enter" as  "the key"?
  • I would guess he means the ESC key :-)
