Dynamic Input Query
in Linux
Regarding Dynamic Input. I wonder how others use this feature. I have it turned on at the moment. When I use the Distance tool and attempt to select two points for measuring, the Dynamic Input is present - updating the distance as I move the cursor. However despite the snap marker picking up the second point the dynamic input is still changing. Dynamic Input seems to be working separately, identifying the cursor position while snap has picked up the intersection of endpoint for measurement. It would be nice to use Dynamic Input for measuring and checking distances. We could then keep our eyes on the screen rather than have to look to the command line for an x or y value. Have anyone been able to do this ?

I've noticed that, too. I think your point is excellent: having the dynamic input show the snap marker instead of - or in addition to - the cursor location would be very useful.0
