anyone know how to change the text size and set it as default so every time when i open Briscad it will be the text size. now i change it inside option > dimension > text > text height. But every time after i close Briscad and open back it will change back to the default.

Both the text height for text entities and dimensions are stored in the dwg (template) file.
To get the correct text heights at startup:- Open your favourite template.
- Change the text height for the dimension style, preferably using an existing dim style in the Drawing Explorer. This avoids dim style overrides which are usually a bad idea.
- Change the default height for text entities by typing TEXTSIZE and entering a new value.
- Save the template (to a new name).
- Use the SETTINGS command and change the BASEFILE setting to the new template.

thank Roy for your help
when i key in basefile command it shown
"New value for BASEFILE, or . for none/<"">:"
what should i key in?
One more thing is when i saving the template do i need to save it inside the default template folder?0 -
Please use:
SETTINGS > Program options > Files > Templates > Template > [...] button + select a dwt or dwg file.
The BASEFILE does not have to be in the default template folder, although it makes sense if it is.
If you don't like the default folder you can change it:
SETTINGS > Program options > Files > Templates > Template path > [...] button + select a folder.0 -
