How to embed and show some Screenshots and .JPG images in messages of this Forum ?????
I am trying to embed and show some Screenshots and .JPG images in messages of this Forum
but the the Insert Image Button available doesn't have any effect ???
and only the "Copy and Paste" of Images from the clipboard works!
The Images are perfectly pasted into the message, BUT the message CANNOT be sent !
I receive an error "message cannot be posted"....
The JPG files are ~ 35- 90K each.
Any Ideas to present some Images in Forum messages ????

Does this mean that i cannot embed and show an image from my disk C: directly
or do i have to supply the image as
file:///C:/GIS/DEV/PROC%23/SweepX-LoftX/Loft2.jpg0 -
As Daniel tried to explain:
1. Use the [Browse...] button to attach an image to your post.
2. In your NEXT post you can use the URL of the image (which has then been uploaded) to embed the image in your text.
So unless the image is already available on the WWW you cannot skip step 1.BQGR_ADD.png0 -
This post is my step 2:0
-
To clarify:
The URL of my image is:
https://www.bricsys.com/protected/forumAttach/17066/BQGR_ADD.png
The URL of Daniel's image is:
https://www.bricsys.com/protected/forumAttach/17063/Capture.PNG
In Firefox you can right-click on an image to get its URL.0 -

Many thanks Daniel and Roy for helping me out...!0 -
Well, if you do not care about where the images appear in your post you can of course only use step 1. The images will then appear below your text. You only need step 2 if you want the images to appear somewhere else in your post:
1. Image by Konstantin.
2. Image by Roy.0 -
Hmm, I see that a large image can cause problems with the visibility of texts.
The text of my previous post:

Hmm, the problem mentioned in my previous post affects text on the entire html page.
Something wrong with overflow in the CSS probably.
Another attempt to display the text of post #11:

is it possible to embed a jpeg image so it is in the file rather than an image attached, so my client can receive the drawing with the image in rather than looking for it in browse - thanks
