Crash when new layer is added
I'm working on an Ubuntu 11.10 system (32bit), and whenever I try to add a new layer, Bricscad crashes.
Any way to overcome this?
Btw, just started testing Bricscad today and I love it (when it works). I used to work with autoCAD, inventor, solidEdge, solidWorks... But since I'm a fulltime linux user, a decent intuitive 3D CADsuite was missing until I stumbled up on this.

if you start it from a command line do you get any errors?
like:
$ /usr/bin/bricscadv11
(bricscad:2638): Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_window_resize: assertion `width > 0' failed
or something0 -
Dit geeft hij dus:
(bricscad:7016): Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_window_resize: assertion `width > 0' failed
Segmentation fault
0 -
Hello Wouter,
please enter a support request for this issue.
Besides the OS version, also mention the used version of Bricscad (I guess it is V11.3.16?).
When a "Segmentation fault" occurs, a backtrace usually gives a good clue of the cause. Here's a description how a backtrace can be created:

In the support request, you can also request beta access. With beta access, you can try whether your issue still occurs in V12.1.9.
Kind Regards
