Ductwork and Piping

Good morning / afternoon all.
Has anyone found or created a tool or lisp that works with BrisCAD for drawing double line HVAC ductwork or piping?
I have found a few fairly simple ones for AutoCAD but as far as I can tell, they depend on the multiline command, which I believe isn't supported in BricsCAD.
If I'm wrong in that understanding, I'd love to know about it.
I've also checked with the most promising 3rd party developed add-on packages for BricsCAD, and they don't appear to have plans for supporting the Linux version yet.
I'm working on systems for USA locations.  While I would love to have a tool that could parametrically generate US based piping systems, fittings, etc., I would gladly work with a tool or package that would allow me to generate two or maybe 4 (for insulated ductwork/piping) parallel lines with control of line spacing / layer / color / linetype for each line. (or no properties control if needed)
Regards.

  • Regretfully Linux does not rate when it comes to application development. A cursory glance at the Applications available to Bricscad that work on the Linux Platform will reveal this. It is difficult trying to change this mindset. But a solid, inovative, Cad Software Package that leverages the Linux strengths and makes good use of the Linux ecosystem can help.

Did your search show "Trazar City Tools"? It is one of the Bricscad Applications for Linux.

  • My search had only gone as far as the BricsCAD Store.  I'm glad to see at least someone is developing some tools in the Linux arena.
I will likely give the Trazar City Tools package a look.  Unfortunately at a license cost of $900, I may be just trying today and planning for the future.

My primary request, though, is for a simple lisp routine that will generate user configurable multi-line patterns with a single path for the set of multiple lines, like the ACAD mline command would generate.
    Regards,
