Editing table text
I've added a column to a table but can't get the text size to match the rest, it keeps reverting back to the "tiny" default. Tried highlighting the text and changing the value, click ok but it just goes back to the previous size. What am I missing here? Isn't it supposed to work like the mtext editing box?

Did you try clearing the cells overrides? you can do this by right clicking on the cell.

If I clear cell overrides then it won't let me input any text at all, like it's a dead cell. You would think if you added a column or row it would stick with the same size text as the rest of the table. Surely we don't have to create a brand new table for every instance. I thought you could create a few standards and then be able to edit them to suit.0

Ah! Ok , I see the issue.. being fixed . just a note, the best way to control the text height is to setup your table style. If your inserting a new column and the text is way out of proportion, then the table style could possibly be setup incorrectly

You say it's being fixed? So it's something a support request should take care of - which somebody has beat me to it. What I did was set up a few "template" tables and figured I could insert them as blocks - resize/edit text and etc. to my heart's content. I'll wait till they fix this and try again. Thanks for replying.0

It's easiest to create a new table style and set the defult text style in that to the correct properties.Chances are the "template table" you are bringing in has a different default text style, so when you create a new column or when editing existing cells it reverts to those defaults.0
