I have been waiting patiencely since I was informed that a new release was to be out on Oct. 30, 2001, (by tech support). Am I the only one that is wondering where Bricsnet is headed with ICAD?

Actually, there is a new version available, ver 3.1.0001, uploaded Dec. 22. I don't know why there has been no public notice, maybe because of the holiday season. The download link still reads 2.2.0027, ignore it.

Having read the release info on 3.1 I wonder what this release is. My understanding is that all vendors from now on should have the same basic versions out. Looking at the specs this seems looks like ITCs 2001 more or less? I have also understood that ITC is about to release a new version very soon ,is this it?

The ITC version is out, and it is indeed very close to the Bricsnet version(apart from the extras). I'm making an update to the ITC as well as the Bricsnet version.regards, sander

I have a question regarding all the different versions of Icad available (Bricsnet, ITC, Cadopia)...Are these all the same basic program, or are they completely different? I am wondering if I need to check out all of the versions to see which works best for my particular situation. If anyone can clear this matter up for me, it would be greatly appreciated.Dave

Intellicad is a product of the "Consortium" formed by a number of companies that wanted to preserve the product and continue to enhance it. They all work on it together. Therefore, I believe the basic program is the same with little, if any, variation between them.
