Any alternatives to using the FLATTEN command on X-Hardware to get 2D profiles?
I've been flattening X-Hardware profiles of AISC Steel sections to use them in 2D.
However, they end up with multiple lines on top of each other. Is their a way to flatten objects so that only single lines remain?
Or is there a command to eliminate all the lines under each other?

You can use the command "FLATSHOT" this gives you the options if you want to have with or without hidden lines. You will have a block you can insert in your drawing and explode to edit or edit as block. Maybe this is the option you are looking for?...
This command is very comfortable to use and has some good options (also to save flatshot seperate). I attached a screenshot (German Version). So maybe will test it...

What about XQUICKDRAW which allows to generate all orthographic views and 4 isometric views, including hidden lines (if necessary)?XQuickDraw.png0

Thanks Alot!
Quick draw keeps everything on only a single layer and does the job.
