ver 3.1.0001 bugs

Assuming this is the public release, I have a few bugs to report:New bugs:-Attributes don't print in modelspace. To test do the following: Insert a block containing attributes, make a few copies. In an otherwise empty drawing, attributes will print correctly. If you draw a line or polyline in the drawing, attributes will disappear from print.Attributes print ok in paperspace.-The new dynamic zoom using the mouse wheel is unreliable and causes occasional crashes.-The mtext dialog has been downgraded to its previous useless state. You should do some testing with mm-unit drawings (very common in AEC) before you decide it is ok the next time. -ACIS solids: crashed with the first command I attempted after opening a drawing containing solids. Is full ACIS support going to happen for Intellicad? Some of the more annoying old bugs in Intellicad are not being addressed for unknown reasons: -If a crossing window crosses a non-continuous line segment during STRETCH command, that line is gong to move with the stretched objects.-Lisp: Image tiles don't release back to the system the memory they use. Causes SYSTEM crashes.

  • I haven't been as methodical as you, but my experience in creating a new model with the new version has been that it has crashed all over the place; for example when inserting compound blocks, when rendering 3D views, when inserting forms. It seems especially prone to this when using multiple viewports, but not exclusively so.I've also shifted from Win2000 to winXP since doing serious model creation, but should I uninstall and go back to the previous version just to see if it's any more stable under XP? Any thoughts? Louis? Help!On a positive note, at last we have an upgrade that upgrades rather than requiring an uninstall of previous versions (notwithstanding what I've just said above....)

  • Just downloaded 3.1.0001 this morning and see your point concerning MTEXT, seems to have taken a giant step backwards!
