I downloaded an istalled the ESRI import for Bricscad installed according to directons on V12 and will not load on start. Any thoughts?

If you are talking about this product:
http://www.sycode.com/products/esri_import_bc/index.htm

It may not be compatible with V12. If the application is BRX based it has to be recompiled for every main BC version.
And it does say: "Bricscad Version (32 Bit only): 8, 9, 10 and 11" on the linked page.
