file icons
in Linux
Just a comment to Brics:
If Draftsight is loaded on an Ubuntu system (and possibly others, I don't know) it puts the Draftsight icons anywhere and everywhere... on all .dwg files and anywhere else it can put them. Making Bricscad the default drawing program does not replace those Draftsight icons and reloading Bricscad does not replace them.
Of course this does not affect the performance of Bricscad, but for image and branding purposes perhaps Brics should set the program to put its icons on files for which is the default program.

The same happened in openSUSE / KDE4 when I tried both Bricascad and Draftsight. It was so annoying not being able to make Bricscad the default DWG app that I ended up removing Draftsight - and it required some port-removal cleaning too.
OTOH it was one of the reasons I chose to buy Bricscad, so perhaps it's not a bad thing altogether (for Bricsys, of course)0 -
Typo: not "port-removal", "post-removal".0

We also think that removing Draftsight is the best solution
Next time I revise our installers, I will also have a look at the icon/file association.
