Maybe change your monitor resolution so you can find it and re-dock it?
(I've had similar problems with other proggies in the past)0 -
Robt: thanks for the thought, no good though. I still cannot find the bar. Its open, but no where to be found. Its tough because I don't know how to change things any other way.If anyone has any thoughts, let me know.0

The easiest way I know of to reset the position of the various panels and dialogs is to create a new profile using the Bricscad User Profile Manager.
OR:
The properties panel position and floating / docked state appear to be stored in your user profile. At least for v12.2.8 it is saved in the registry at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Bricsys\Bricscad\V12\en_US\Profiles\[Your Profile Name Here]\Toolbars\PROPERTIES
You can change the position of the panel by changing the first two values. I just tried "show floating 0 0 240 500" and the panel appears at the top left of the screen.
If you are not comfortable editing the registry (or don't know what it is) I would suggest:- use the Bricscad User Profile Manager to export your user profile to a file
- open the file in a text editor (i.e.: Notepad, not a word processor)
- search for PROPERTIES under the Toolbars section
- change the values
- save the file
- use the Bricscad User Profile Manager (with Bricscad not currently running) to import the file as a new profile or delete the existing one if you want to keep the same name.

@ Chad,
per Gregs post I would try creating a new profile to see whether it resolves your issue. This is quite easy to do, have some information here on how to do this:

Floating windows can be a real pain in Windows, its not just a Bricscad thing. Most commonly it is struck by laptop users who have a dual monitor set-up. Some windows, such as the Drawing Explorer can be retrieved by pressing Alt + SpaceBar + M on the keyboard, then use the keyboard arrow keys to retrieve. Unfortunately this technique won't work for the Property Bar.
