LEADER STYLE
Is it possible to change the arrow head to a custom one please?
The Filled arrows (default) are too wide or chunky for my liking.
I'd prefer a slightly longer and skinnier one than I can get by playing with the arrow size under Lines & arrows.
It would be nice to 'scale' the arrow size unevenly - length to width.
Another Arrow Head I like is one made with arcs - similar to 'Open ' but with curved elements.

Hi Richard,
You can create your own arrows for use with leaders and dimensions. If you select a Leader and then in the Property bar look at arrows under lines and arrows, you will see a number of predefined arrow heads you can choose from. At the bottom of the list is an option for "User arrow", if you select this you will be prompted to select a block to use as your arrow head. Block can be of pretty much anything.
Note the property bar can be used to modify existing objects. You would need to use DIMSTYLE to set this option as your default.

got this to work and playing with Dimension Styles (thanks Jason for hints) I get inconsistent results.
I created a style using an arrow I created and then another style using another custom arrow.
But when I set the current dim style to the second style it seemingly uses the first style (or at least the arrow head).
If I query the properties its definitely Style No 2 and when I look at that Style in Explorer it shows the correct arrowhead.
I've played with this till the cows came home and yet can't nut out what's wrong.
Any ideas appreciated thanks.0 -
may have answered this.
I assume I hadn't set Arrow 1 & 2 PLUS Leader arrow to ALL same custom arrow.
I created a new style and made sure all three were set to my customised arrow and voila!0 -
If DIMDEC is set to -1 in a dimstyle, that's one of the problems you will have.
V12 doesn't allow it, so it will only be -1 in some legacy files and dimstyles.
