Reinstalling BricsCAD Version 11.3.16 on Ubuntu 64

I'm trying to reinstall BricsCAD Version 11.3.16 on Ubuntu 64 after an upgrade to Ubuntu 12.04. I've spent a couple of hours following the directions here:

This included the following steps:

1) Remove broken BricsCAD installation.
2) Rebuild deb file from directions using repaired control file.
3) Install deb file using the "force-architecture" option.

When I try to execute BricsCAD, I get the following error message:
/usr/bin/bricscad: 3: exec: /opt/bricsys/bricscad/v11/bricscad: not found

Any suggestions?
