Proxy in drawing

I get the message 'not allowed for this proxy' when copying an object (within or with copyclip to another drawing). Any solutions? This is quite urgent! It's driving me mad!

Try saving a copy of the dwg to Release 12.

Thanks Roy! Just a comment - saving to R12 in my case not worked in the same session but after close/open drawing again, copying was allowed.

The problem seems to be that Bricscad reads some objects as being 3D instead of 2D. Try running the FLATTEN command on the objects and try again.

Same issue with copy "not allowed for this proxy"

Used "Flatten" on object first which allowed copy to proceed.
