Big green box in may face!

Hey everyone, first time here and i hope someone can help me.

I'm a new user to Bricscad, using v11.1 and I have an issue with my display interface.  I have a drawing to edit and everytime I select a line or any entity I get this big green box looking thing pop up.  It goes away when i unselect any entity.  What it seems to be is an enlarged dashed line but only showing one dash on the screen because if its size.  See screenshots that i took.  Thanks in advance.
