microstation .dgn files

So, I did a search on the .dgn file converters. Could this be a possible enchancement for future releases? Maybe?

I agree. I paid $300AUS for software to do that. Already had one file it didn't work on, I guess keeping any converter up to date is part of the challenge.

Hi guys,

if you look for DGN in SETTINGS for Bricscad V12 you will see reference to .dgn, so I assume from that it is coming in the not too distant future. Also if you look at ODA news http://www.opendesign.com/news/2012/july/oda-consolidates-support-dgn-and-dwg-file-formats-teigha you see that they have recently announced amalgamation of .dwg and .dgn SDKs. Bricsys is a member of the ODA, so I assume will be able to capitalise on this.
