BricsCad for fun and play
in Linux
I'm still struggling with rendering within Bricscad, but here's my latest.
Enjoy.

Hi Keith,
nice, lots of detail. One thing you need to have if you play with rendering is patience, you can spend ages tweaking things to get them to look just right.
I posted these previously https://forum.bricsys.com/discussion/16867.
I don't know how you went about generating your render, but things that work for me are (for single subject, not landscape):- Create a template drawing, which you set up like a photo shoot / stage. Create some planes for your object to sit on / back drops. Set up lights etc. do sample renders on test pieces (Cube, sphere, cone) to tweak quickly.
- xref/insert the model you want to work with and scale it up and down to suit your stage setup (making it around the same size as your test piece).
- Apply materials etc, then render.

Jason Bourhill
