Bricscad settings

 Hi

Having problems with saving my settings in Bricscad.

I followed instuctions I found here https://forum.bricsys.com/discussion/15795 but cannot have my settings saved.

Every time I open a new Bricscad I get the basic settings, even after having created a new profile.

Must be missing something here.

If I open a file I created and where I changed the settings, it's OK but as soon as I open the software using start menu, the old settings are back.

Would really appreciate some help here.

Some settings are stored in the dwg-file. To get these settings at start-up you should create a correct template and set that file as the BASEFILE.

Yes, that's what I thought, but didn't know how to do it.

I should be able to do it now that I know where to search !

Let's get rid of this Imperial system ;-)

BTW: Bricscad comes with a set of 10 default templates, 7 of which are metric.
