Need materials
How does one get materials for rendering? A lot of trouble to make from scratch and Brics doesn't come with much. Is there a particular site where you can download some for free? I'm a rookie on this stuff so there may be something I've overlooked. I just assumed there would be a whole list of materials to choose from the Brics itself.

Hi Tim,
try doing a search on 3d Studio & Materials, or similar. 3d Studio is all about computer animation & rendering, and uses similar methods for defining materials. I think you will find sites like CADtutor also have sections on rendering.

Hi Tim, inside of the BricsCAD (V13) sample directory I found a file named Materials.dwg. Here are 9 materials defined. OK could be more, but better than nothing. Mustafa
