Sections of XREF's

The idea of an XREF, as I understand it is the keep drawing files small(ish) and to allow elements to be modified, as required, without needing to work on the whole drawing. This also allows other people to work on elements of the same drawing at the same time. However, it doesn't appear possible, or I haven't found a way, of having these XREF's appear in sections - either the old SECTION command or the new SECTIONPLANE command.

Is anybody able to help with this dilemma?

    The fact that the content of XREF's is ignored by SECTIONPLANETOBLOCK is a shortcoming of the current implementation in BricsCAD. We are in the process of adding support for sectioning XREF's and will make it available in the coming weeks.
