Editing attributes by double-click

 I've noticed recently, that when selecting a an attribute for editing (by double-clicking the displayed text), the attribute edit box no longer highlights the selected text. Rather it always highlights the first attribute in the list. Rather annoying as I keep editing the wrong field.

Is this a bug or a setting somewhere?
