lost hatch pattern

Whilst drawing in version 13.1.18, the program crashed but I was able to recover the autosave drawing. After renaming and opening it, I wanted to hatch an area but when I selected "predefined" in the drop down, I got a message saying "No available pre defined patterns found"
I have re-installed Bricscad, re-booted but no solution.
Any suggestions?

    I found the problem.
    The search path to the iso.pat file had disappeared in the settings dialog.
