exclude objects from save set

hi,

i'm using version 12.2.18 pro edition,

when i'm trying to copy object outside of block by using " refedit" command, i'm using remove from save set afterwards, but the objects still appears only in the block instead of being outside,

somenody knows any way to solve this?

in older versions this wasn't an issue.

best regards

  • If a block is opened in a refedit session, the 'Remove from Refedit' button removes the selection from the block and adds it to the drawing. If you then use the 'Refclose and Discard' button to end the refedit session, the changes to the block are not saved, but the selection will remain in the drawing.

V11.4.6, V12.2.18 and V13.2.4 all show this same behavior. I don't see any changes.
Can it be that one of your layers is locked?
  • I've reproduced the actions on ver 13.2 and it doesn't happens but on ver 12.2.18 the same actions:

Editing block in place, copying part of it, removing from save set this part , refclose  and discard,

In ver 13.2 the copied part leaves in the parent drawing as it should be.

But in ver 12.2.18 it appears only in the block (it seems only in edit mode)

  • I have retested this with the addition of the copy action. Again I see no difference between V12.2.18 and V13.2.4. The behavior is as described in my previous post.
Maybe something is wrong with your installation?
    Maybe this helps?:
