Circle Selection Error - autostarts Copy tool

 I'm still able to click on most object types (lines, dimensions) to select them, but whenever I click on a circle the Copy tool autostarts. Even when just hovering over a circle, the Copy tool "widget" appears.

I am still able to select circles by dragging a selection box, but this is still frustrating.

This wasn't happening for the first half of my drawing session, so I'm guessing this isn't a bug but some kind of special mode I've entered accidentally?

You have accidentally switched on the 'Quad'. To switch it off, click the 'Quad' button at the bottom of the screen.
