Text Outlining
Hello, I am trying to cut out some letters and numbers on my waterjet machine using bricscad platinum. Although to cut it out i need to get the outline of the font only for it to cut. I am using a font that came inbuilt with the software.

Use the txtexp command to explode the text to poly lines.

Hi
You tried using the TXTEXP command?

Daniel was a bit faster!0

Would toggling TEXTFILL to OFF accomplish the same thing (for TrueType fonts)?0

No, the FILLMODE system variable only controls the display of filled areas such as hatches, solid fills, polyline widths, TTF fonts. TXTEXP converts the text entity to linear entities (lines, arcs, plines, ...).0

Sorry, not quite correct: FILLMODE controls hatches and solid fills, whille TEXTFILL controls TTF fonts.0
