ACIS SOLIDS
Dear allI have a ACAD2000's one 2d drawing and one solid model.our client needs to see these two drawings in B.3.ricsnet intellicad.I read that Bricsnet intelli cad can't read if that drawing contains ACIS SOLID .so how it is possible?can i export to some other format?ORany other procedure is there?so what can i do ?any information gretely appreciableRegards,reswam

To make the geometry of the ACIS solids visible in IntelliCAD you can do the following:1. Open the drawing in AutoCAD and save it under a different name.2. Select all ACIS entities, then choose EXPLODE, the ACIS entities will then be broken into REGIONS and BODIES;3; Select all entities again and execute the EXPLODE command once more. Now the complete drawing is composed of lines and polylines, which can be viewed in IntelliCAD.

thank u for ur replyand i have a one doubt ,the same method is also workout for 2d drawing?

Else wait a few days (or weeks?) for the next release.It is supposed to display solids.Earlier releases can read the file but wont display the solids.
