Hmm, where do I set the backup file directory (V13 dont tell me its gone)

    Try this:

    Settings > Settings > Files > Save file path

    The help string reads, "Specifies the path to the folder where automatic saves and temporary files are stored."

     Unfortunately,

    I haven't discovered the option yet, where one can preset that the autosave-file location is the same as where the drawing is located.
    This would really be useful...

    That option might indeed be missing - but really useful for what: you would be left with tons of .sv$ (and similar) that would need to be removed manually / by a script - why not leave these files in a place where they will not survive a reboot (or in another folder, if your system is unstable)?
