Diametre Dimension Lines and Arrows

Hello All:

I am attempting to place a diametre dimension on a circle, I would like the text, all lines and arrows inside of the circle.  I can do this, however, the dimension line extends from the centre of the circle to the edge of the circle, instead of from one edge of the circle to the other, through the centre point of the circle.  Is there a way to turn on the other dimension line for a diametre dimension on the inside of a circle?

Thanks!

  • I can't see a way. I tried, but altering dimension defaults is to me a long weary road.

My circles are usually fairly large at small scale, so it usually suits to dimension them either as default or as normal rotated/hor/vert Dim's and adding the phi symbol.

I hadn't consciously noticed the absence of your option, it would be useful at times. (now that there is no one to rouse me for placing dimensions on the job :)

  • A workaround:
Use a linear dimension with an text override:
    %%C<>
