Cannot save 'failed message'

Hi when I try to save I get this message and am unable to save. Am aware this should be a support issue but am on a deadline. Can anyone assist?

    I have had similar after purging a block within a file, which is actually still use.

    Could be to do with support for what's it called, individually editable instances?

    Anyway, I can usually Undo to where the problem arose, then save.
