Cursor Jerking/Juddering during Zoom-In / Zoom-Out

I am facing a problem when using Bricscad V14.1, the cursor start jerking during Zoom In / Out right after i changed the background color to black in "Setting".

I did experiment by removing the my user profile and create a new one with default setting, the cursor is able to move smoothly.

Please help

  • I have also seen this problem.  It only happens for me occasionally and I have not found a way to reproduce the problem at will.  My bigger problem with 14.02 is that lisp seems to be unstable.  Routines that have worked well for several years in both Autocad and Bricscad now stop working at random times.  In general the routines work well when I start Bricscad, but they may stop running and start throwing system errors or lock up the computer after some length of time.  Again, I can't repeat this.  The error messages make it look like something is overwriting memory when it should not, or that there is a memory leak.
  • Selection Preview Display would get very boggy on V13 in large files. Don't know if it improved in V14, I still have it set at 0.
  • I just had this come up again on a file from an architect.  Changing Selection Preview Display did not help in this case.  I noticed the the size of the file was unusually large for a simple floor plan that was model space only -- 1489 KB.  i went looking in Drawing Explorer and found that there were a lot of layer filters, many of which were unnamed.  I ran the layer filter delete lisp routine that R. Robert Bell wrote in 2004 and it removed 34,301 layer filters.  The file size dropped to 125KB and the cursor problem went away.
