BricsCAD 14 licenses server - multiversion
Having two types of network licenses - Classic and Pro -, both on same licenses server, how it could be managed to force client to activate a specific license type ?

Here is one way you could do it :
- Rename your license files so that when sorted alphabetically, your Pro license file is listed before the Classic license file.
- Open the web interface, go to Status, click on the 'bricsys' button in the 'Options' column and enter this in the text field (say you have 20 Pro licenses):
GROUP Pro user1 user2 user3 etc..
RESERVE 20 bricscad GROUP Pro
- Click on the 'Update Options' button
- Reread the server
Now the first 20 licenses = the Pro licenses, are reserved for the 'Pro' group.0 -
Thank for your answer Pieter.
Two more questions:
1. What user1 user2 and so on means ? They are Windows domain users ?
2. What if they are 20 Pro licenses and they are GROUP Pro they are 30 users listed ? After 20 Pro licenses are acquired all users go for Classisc, including those 10 missed in the Pro list ?

1. These are the usernames as they use to log on to their system.
2. When all 20 Pro licenses are in use, and the 21st pro user starts BricsCAD, a classic license will be given (if one is free).0 -
That's sounds fair. I will test and feedback.
Thanks a lot.
