Reporting of Deflection angles on curves.
I have a pipeline that is approximately circular (arc).
It was designed as such but I have to report on the deflection angle at each joint as constructed.
Ie at every join of every 6± metre length of pipe.
I have surveyed it and have the line work joining each 6.00± section of pipe.
I can do it via annotation each chord in surveying program and then deduct from that, but wonder if there is a simple CAD routine that someone may have that would give that in some tabulated or individual annotation.
I have Ver 14 and 12, so could work in either.
I realise I could dimension angular deflections but haven't gone down that track as I expect that would be just as tedious (more so?) than my surveying program.
Any ideas are very much appreciated thanks.
I imagine this would be a standard requirement in some vocations.
