Status Bar

I'm using Bricscad Pro Version 14.1.13. My computer has crashed and would not reopen my drawings. When I finally was able to retrive my drawing, my status bar icons are gone. I have opened, closed, reopened, rebooted, you name it. The status bar is there just no tool optionals. Help!

  • Hi Scott,

You mean BricsCADs standard menu is not displaying? You can reset this by typing _CUI at the command prompt, Then select the "Revert to Defaults" button in the bottom left of the window that opens.

If it's not that, then you can try creating a new user profile. If BricsCAD then works ok, then original profile was corrupted in someway when your computer crashed.

    Best regards,

  •  Try typing STATBAR and following prompts.  If the status bar is on but no tools are available, there should be a small triangle at the right end of the status bar.  Click on it and select the tools you want to display.
  • No triangle.
  •  Hi Scott:

Check that the status bar is checked in the View menu, it is near the bottom.  You could also try the command WNDLSTAT and set it to On

  • The status bar is on. Just none are the icons are on the bar and the triangle (opening) is not on the right side. I cannot add any items to the bar. Cannot find any options for the staus bar under Setting other than off and on. Can't find a way to get the icons on to the bar.

  • Dear Scott
Please follow the instructions by Jason in reply #2: restart BricsCAD using a fresh profile with hard-coded default settings.
