BricsCAD v13 Linux performance issues on 64bit Linux, GeForce 780M with optimus

Hi,

I recently tried to install the downloadable version of BricsCAD under Linux (currently v13), and attempted to run it on my machine :

- Linux 64 bit  3.12-1 (Debian)
- I7 Haswell 2.7Ghz
- GeForce 780M 5G DDR5
- nvidia drivers 331.38-2
- X server running optimus (bumblebee).

v12 did not run at all (the 3D window just crashed), and then v13 finally launch, but it is awfully slow :/ For some reason, the rendering seems to start in sw (as the view resolution starts quite bad then refreshes to better details in the next 5s). The point is at this time, every time I move on a menu or do anything on the view, the display of the 3D view is first shown in pixelized version (very roughly pixelized), and the display is then refreshed around 5s after I stop the moving to a better resolution.

Not quite usable as you might understand.

I did install all compat libs (32bits), and I have no warning message on the console… The renderer is using the NVIDIA driver indeed, and that graphic card should give quite good performace IMO…

What can I do to track down (and solve) the issue ?

I read on the forum that v14 beta version should be available … where can I download it to have it a go (in case this would solve the issue) ?
