.Bak files
Can I get the .bak files directed to the bakup directory!( on V13 ) Now they sit in the same directory as the file. The SV$ files are redirected to a backup directory and I would like my .bak files there as well. I Think they used to go there previously.

What is the entry in Settings > Files > Save file path?
I have mine set to "C:\Autocad temp\" and all my SV$ and BAK files are being saved there.0 -
@ Martin: Perhaps you are using some utility because by default .bak files are put in the drawing folder.0
-
No special utility here. I have automatic backup set to 10 minutes and save percent at 0. The save file path is set as noted below. Works for me in V14-2-06.0

OK, you are talking about autosave files only. Indeed .bak files are created for .SV$ files in the SAVEFILEPATH folder. You must then have ISAVEBAK set to off because 'normal' .bak files are put in the drawing folder.0

@ Roy: You are correct. With the mention of SV$ I assumed that Patrik was referring to auto-backups.

There is a utility included with Express Tools called MOVEBAK that allows you to control the location of .bak files.

An excellent & invaluable collection of tools, however, I could not get MOVEBAK to work with it.

@everyone Thanks I might try moveback else I will just search .bak files in explorer to delete them every onde in a while. I feel the clutter my directories.0

Have the ET been updated since 2012 or are they still valid to load?CheersL.0

I would love to use MOVEBACK but the link for the Express Tools is broken :-(
