Copying BricsCAD files into Word
When copying BricsCAD drawings into Word (by selecting them, C, and V in a Word-document),
the drawing is entered in Word as a picture. Unfortunately the legend section (with mainly text) then becomes
nearly unreadable, because the characters are all messy. Enlarging the picture in Word is also impossible.
With AutoCAD however, when copying a drawing and pasting it into Word, it becomes an embedded Autocad-
drawing (scalable and all), and the result is much better.
Is there a way to get a BricsCAD drawing copied into Word without the problems described above?

In BricsCAD I use the traditional Ctrl C to capture items to the clipboard and then in Word 2013 I insert the clipboard contents using Paste Special. Imbedding the object is one of the options (see attached screen capture). I've had very good luck pasting the clipboard contents as an enhanced metafile (which improves image quality without linking back to the drawing). This should also be possible in earlier versions of Word if I remember correctly.PasteSpecial.jpg0

You can improve the quality of the WMF, EMF, BMP produced by increasing the value of PictureExportScale.
If you prefer you can use Paste Special in Word and embed the BricsCAD drawing. Perhaps with AutoCAD this is the default paste option?
